Chappell Roan’s benefit has room for more than pop stars
Tinashe and Lola Young join the Super Graphic Spectacular bill. A separate $15 block party puts volunteering and drag on the afternoon agenda.

Chappell Roan revealed the expanded lineup for her Super Graphic Spectacular LGBTQ+ benefit on October 9—but the famous names aren’t the only draw. Alongside the upcoming October 21–22 concerts at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium, a separately ticketed $15 block party offers a way to join in without an evening concert ticket.
Roan will headline both nights, with Caleb Hearon hosting. According to Rolling Stone, Lola Young and Tinashe perform October 21; Caroline Polachek and Muna follow October 22. The expanded programme reported by Yahoo Entertainment also includes drag, burlesque and circus performers. Subtlety can find its own ride home.
Outside the Shrine, the Super Graphic Block Party brings together drag performances, food trucks, vendors, nonprofit booths, volunteer opportunities and evening-ticket giveaways. Public admission runs from 1–4 p.m. and costs $15: an afternoon programme in its own right, rather than a waiting room for the concert.
Keep the two access windows straight. Evening concert ticket holders have a separate 4:30–7:30 p.m. block-party window, but space is limited and entry is not guaranteed. A daytime ticket does not include the evening show; ticket giveaways shouldn’t be the plan.
Net concert proceeds and net block-party ticket proceeds benefit Roan’s Midwest Princess Project, which supports trans youth and LGBTQ+ communities. That gives the afternoon a purpose beyond extending the entertainment: fans can explore nonprofit work and volunteering as well as catch a performance. The headline set is one way in, not the whole invitation.
