Lindsay Lohan spotted filming in Toronto—and yes, the calendar still said October 3rd

PEOPLE’s October 3 Star Tracks roundup reported seeing Lindsay Lohan on the Toronto set of the Netflix film Return to You.

Entertainment Weekly reported the same day that Lohan and director Mark Waters recreated the familiar Mean Girls calendar scene while working on Return to You.

The coincidence is doing almost too much editorial labour: an October 3 set day, a Mean Girls reunion and Toronto playing host. Our accompanying scene is entirely synthetic and does not depict Lohan, the production or the reported moment.

The October 3 coincidence gives the reunion an extra pop-culture charge.
